Welcome to the CIC energiGUNE cooperative research centre

CIC energiGUNE is a new energy research centre. Based in the Basque Country, it aspires to achieve and maintain levels of excellence in all its operations and become an international benchmark in its field. The centre has been set up with backing from public authorities and businesses directly associated with the energy industry.

CIC energiGUNE's main areas of action are:

• Basic excellence research
• Transfer of knowledge and results
• Coordination of energy research, development and innovation projects being conducted by different agents (universities, technology centres, etc.) operating in the Basque Country
